У вівторок 13 травня 2025 року на ZOOM-семінарі з Основ геометрії доповідатиме запрошений гость (з Кракова), професор Piotr Blaszczyk з доповіддю “Semi-Euclidean Plane over Hyperreals” (початок семінару о 18:00, лінк на ZOOM – стандартний).

Abstract: We present a model of a non-Euclidean plane in which the angles of a triangle sum to π. This plane is a subspace of the Cartesian plane over the field of hyperreal numbers ℝ*. We discuss different versions of the Parallel Postulate, as well as the conditions that three points must satisfy in this plane, serving as a counterpart to the theorem about three points in the hyperbolic plane.
